After taking her first Pilates class 20 years ago, Stephanie was hooked. She has always been dedicated to fitness, in its many forms, and in healthy living.
Her practice of Pilates brought an awareness of how functional movement and alignment can support everyday life and sport. This journey led her to complete her level 1 Matwork™ and Reformer certification with STOTT PILATES®, and currently working towards her full certification at Calgary Pilates Centre.
Prior to her Pilates training she received her AFLCA certification in Group Fitness and Resistance Training. Her love for alignment also took her into the world of teaching Barre classes. She has run 8 marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and has paced for the Running Room’s marathon groups. Now with her marathon training days behind her, Stephanie’s enthusiasm and energy for teaching Pilates enables her to help others reach their lifestyle and fitness goals.
