Tara

Tara was the franchisee of several health and wellness centers and spent a lot of time travelling between Alberta and Saskatchewan. She was first introduced to Pilates in Saskatchewan as an enhancement to her running regime. In 2005, she was in a car accident resulting in whiplash and STOTT PILATES became a huge part of her rehabilitation.

After her kids were born, she sold her business and decided to find a career that was a little more family flexible. That is when she started her teacher training at Calgary Pilates. Tara is a Level 1 Certified STOTT PILATES Instructor in Matwork & Reformer as well as a Total Barre Qualified Instructor. She is Can-Fit-Pro certified and is currently working toward her full STOTT PILATES certification having completed Cadillac, Stability Chair, Barrels and Injuries and Special Populations as well as the Advanced Level courses in all equipment. Tara is also a Level 1 MELT Method Instructor and likes to incorporate MELT into private sessions and small group classes.

Having missed the business environment, Tara recently stepped into the manager role at Calgary Pilates and enjoys working with clients and instructors to create a positive, high energy studio.
